Mythical Games hits 1 million downloads for the third time with FIFA Rivals

Mythical Games has achieved 1 million downloads for the third time across its Web3 gaming portfolio, with FIFA Rivals reaching the milestone in less than two months since its June 12 launch. 

The FIFA-licensed blockchain game has recorded 5 million matches played and 16 million goals scored during this period.

FIFA Rivals joins NFL Rivals, which has garnered over 5 million downloads, making it the only NFL-licensed game outside of Madden, and demonstrating Mythical Games’ growing position as a Web3 gaming powerhouse. 

Behind the success

The company’s success stems from creating accessible blockchain games with low barriers to entry and immediate connections to global ecosystems.

The achievement highlights the global reach of blockchain gaming, with FIFA Rivals attracting soccer fans from South America to Asia and Africa. The game continues to see tens of thousands of daily installs, showing sustained growth in the competitive mobile gaming market.
