Temu adds 145% "Import Charges" After Trump Tariffs
Temu, a popular online Chinese e-commerce company, is adding “import charges” of around 145% after Trump’s tariffs, surging prices sitewide. Some of the fees range between 130% and 150%, more than doubling the cost of those items. The efforts are to counter the US’ tariffs against China that have sent prices for imports from the country sky-high. The e-commerce site warned earlier this month of counter-measures to tariffs that would hurt customers who turn to the site for cheaper products.
